PHD-11TF-29     1 input 1 output

Input: Switch contacts/NAMUR proximity switches

Output: Transistor (resistor)

    Overview

Switching input transistor output Isolated safety barriers transmit input signals from switching contacts or proximity switches in the hazardous area through the safety barriers in isolation to the safe area with transistor outputs. The input controls a passive transistor output with resistive characteristics. The output has four defined states: short-circuit alarm resistance ≤ 240 Ω, 1-signal 1.4KΩ ≤ resistance value ≤ 1.6KΩ, 0-signal 13KΩ ≤ resistance value ≤ 14KΩ, and broken alarm resistance > 100KΩ. This output characteristic reacts to the line state on the signal line. The dip switches of the module are used to set the input and output in the same direction or reverse control, as well as to set the line fault alarm indication function.
This product requires independent power supply, with isolated power supply, input, and output terminals.

When<1.2mA, the output is open circuit, indicating OFF

Input state transition and alarm switch:

When dial switch K1 is at "ON" side, the output state is opposite to the input state.
When dial switch K1 is at "OFF" side, the output state is consistent with the input state.
When dial switch K2 is at "ON" side, the circuit selects indicating red light LFD alarm function.
The dial switch K3 and K4 have no effect for the time being.

Note: 1. The power supply of the power rail is an optional function. Users need to specify the power supply mode when ordering. Please refer to attachment on page 101.

    Line Fault Detection

Users can select the "ON" side of the switch at the top of the module to enable fault detection function and indicate an alarm through the red LED light. On site input current>7mA, short circuit alarm (SC); On site input current<0.1mA, open circuit alarm (LB). If the switch contact input requires fault detection function (wire breakage, short circuit), a 22k Ω resistor should be connected in parallel at both ends of the switch, and a 680 Ω resistor should be connected in series (as shown in the wiring diagram for switch contact II).
